The first good chance for Chainat came with a strong shot from outside the box that Sinthaweechai blocked near the right post. A new chance for Chainat would come from a breakthrough in right wing that ended with a shot from the goal line that Sinthaweechai cleared; the subsequent corner-kick ended in the feet of a rival player outside the box, after a long series of deflections, but his shot adjusted to the top left hand side corner of the goal was cleared by Sinthaweechai in a magnificent save. The second half would continue very even at the beginning, without a dominant team and without goal chances from any of the teams. The first opportunity was for Suphanburi’s side, in a through-pass by Jakkapan to Carmelo inside the box, but the goalkeeper took the ball away from his feet. A ball recovery in Suphanburi’s own box would end up in a great counter-attack by Carmelo, who shot on goal from the edge of the box but the ball went over the bar. Suphanbari started to dominate the match with breakthroughs from both sides. Dhossapol had a chance in a play in left wing that ended in a shot that went directly into the goalkeeper’s hands. Dhossapol tried again in left wing, but after some dribbling his shot was deflected on a rival defender and Dellatorre could not kick on goal the deflected ball in front of the goal. Carmelo again tried from outside the box, but his low shot went out close to the right post of the rival’s goal. Another breakthrough from Dhossapol in left wing ended in a crossing to the box in which the local team asked for a penalty for a handball by a rival defender, but the referee did not concede it. Finally, the local persistence had its reward in the last minute, a new breakthrough in left wing in the 90th minute, this time by Luiz, ended in a penalty after a rival defender downed him inside the box. This time the referee conceded the penalty and Jakkapan converted it with a centred high shot. The goal made justice to a second half with more chances for the local team. Yet Jakkapan would have a last opportunity before the end in a breakthrough in right wing that ended in a hand-to-hand against the goalkeeper, but he could not resolve and the goalkeeper blocked the ball
