In matchday 9 we had to visit the capital of Thailand to face Bangkok United. The final score was 1-0.
The first opportunity to score was ours, in the 5th minute Assadin left behind is defender in the right wing and his cross was missed by very little by Yai. In the 26th minute Bangkok United scored the only goal of the game, after an interior pass our goalkeeper Ukrit stopped the shot of the opponent but the deflection went to a teammate who scored a goal with a low shot. Shortly after we could draw the match but the strong shot by Douglas inside the box was deflected to corner by the goalkeeper. In the 45th minute Bangkok United almost made its second goal after a sided free-kick but Ukrit deflected the ball to corner. The first half ended with another shot by Douglas, after a good play in the left wing by Yai, which the goalkeeper deflected to corner.
In the second half, Bangkok had two good chances to increase their advantage in the scoreboard, first after a chest control inside the box the shot went over the goal, and the second with a header that went over the bar too after a corner kick. In the last half hour the best opportunities were ours, in particular with 2 good long distance shots, first by Yai and later by Heberty, but in both chances the goalkeeper made good saves and deflected the ball to corner.
After this defeat we are in seventh place in the table, 5 points behind the leader. We need to keep working hard to finish with the little series of bad results, that hopefully will end next Saturday in our home stadium against Chainat Hornbill FC, team which has the same points as us.
