In matchday 14, which had to be postponed due to the political turmoil the country is suffering, we received the visit of Singhtarua FC; we were tied in points, and we continue the same after the draw. It is one of the most laureate teams in Thailand, not in League titles but in local Cup trophies.
In the starting 11 we had the changes of Delibasic for Heberty and Apiwat for Prayat. It was a match with not many clear goal chances, for neither team. The best one for Singhtarua was in minute 14 when they had a goal disallowed due to a doubtful offside. The rest were shots from outside the box that did not create much danger to the goalkeepers.
The second half continued like this, although Nagasato could open the score after a corner-kick but his kick, too centred, went to the goalkeeper’s hands. Dummie had another good chance but his shot, a bit sided, also ended in the goalkeeper’s hands. The last opportunity of the game was ours after a corner-kick, Douglas slightly headed back and Dummie again headed out close to the left post. In this period Singhtarua had nearly no shots on goal.
With this draw we are still in 9th position, tied in points with our rival today, with 22 points, and 12 points behind the leader, one more week Muang Thong United, tied in points with BEC Tero Sasana.
