We played matchday 29 of Thai Premier League in Chainat Hornbill FC stadium. The final score was 2-2, in the first leg we already drew, 1-1.
Chainat took the lead in the scoreboard in minute 9 when their forward headed a cross from the left when he was totally alone. Rattana could level the match in the 18th minute but his shot from the central edge of the box was cleared by a rival defender. Shortly after, in minute 21, they were close to set the 2-0 in the scoreboard after a personal play of a player of Chainat, who dribbled 3 defenders but his shot went to the right post after Ukrit deflected the ball. In the 27th minute they had another good chance with a cross from the right side that Ukrit could not block and his deflection was almost introduced in the net by a rival attacker. One minute later, Quero had a chance to draw, after a good combination with Heberty, who passed him the ball when he was entering the box and his shot when slightly over the bar. This was just a warning of what would happen in the 33rd minute when Heberty executed a low shot in a free-kick, taking advantage of the jump from the wall of players, and the ball entered gently into the goal. Last chance of the first half was for Chainat, but the header went out close to the left post.
Nearly after 1 hour of game, in the 58th minute, Quero executed a great free-kick that went inside the goal close to the left up hand corner. It was the 1-2 in the scoreboard, perhaps the rival have had more goal opportunities but we were better making use of ours. However, our joy did not last long, because in the 63rd, after a small chaos inside the box, Chainat levelled the match. Heberty, with a free-kick that hit the bar in the 71st minute, almost scored his second goal of the game. Shortly after Ukrit saved the 3-2, and the scoreboard did not move again.
For the third matchday in a row a player of the team was selected for the best-11 of the day of Goal Thailand, this time was Juan Quero.
With this point we continue in 7th position with 42 points, 17 behind Buriram United, who lost 1-0 against Chonburi, who is now only 1 point under them. After them, BEC Tero is slipping down a bit after their draw and the victory of Muang Thong United, who is now 2 points from the leader, Buriram. We have an exciting end of the League ahead.
