Matchday 31: Police United 1 – Ratchaburi 2

Away game in matchday 31 of Thai Premier League against Police United FC. We won 1-2, in the game from the first leg we lost 0-1.

Despite having several goal chances in the first half to open the score, we went to halftime with the initial score. The first clear opportunity of the match was in the 16th minute for Police United, when a pass over the defence enabled the forward a hand-to-hand with our goalkeeper but his crossed shot went out. In the 20th minute Heberty warned with an adjusted shot from outside the box that went over the bar, and in the 26th minute a cross from the left from Quero, after a corner-kick, was headed by Chutipon but the ball went out near the right post. In the 41st minute Douglas missed a hand-to-hand with the goalkeeper after a pass from Genki. This was the last good chance of the first half.

In the 57th minute Sila put a very low cross in the area from the right side and it was shot in one touch by Heberty to the right post. Shortly after, in the 64th minute, a rival player saw his second yellow card after tripping Yai. Despite this setback, Police United was able to take advantage in the scoreboard, it was the 70th minute when the rival forward fought a high pass into the area and beat Ukrit. This advantage did not last long, because after 10 minutes Heberty levelled the match with a great shot from a free-kick. 2 minutes later, Quero made a great personal play in the left side entering the area and giving a pass to Heberty that allowed him to score his 21st goal of the season, and put us in advantage.

Again Heberty appeared in the best-11 of the day of Goal Thailand.

After this victory we are still 5th, now alone, with 48 points, 8 behind BEC Tero Sasana, who is 4th in the table. Buriram United continues leader with 65 points, Chonburi 2nd with 62 and Muang Thong United 3rd with 58.
