In matchday 35 of Thai Premier League Ratchaburi received in their home stadium the visit of Bangkok Glass, whom they beat 3-2. In the match of the first leg Ratchaburi also defeated its rival by 2-4.
Ratchaburi took the lead early in the match with a penalty converted by Heberty in the fourth minute, after a foul over him. Ratchaburi could increase the advantage by Fabio Lopes with a hand-to-hand against the goalkeeper, and by Quero with a long-distance shot, but they were unable to score.
The second half had many alternatives. Bangkok Glass turned the score over with 2 goals by Tasevski and Okubo in the 65th and 79th minutes. When the victory seemed in the visitors’ side, Ratchaburi managed to change the result in only 3 minutes, with a great header by Chumpol after a corner kick (85th minute), and a goal by Nilwong with a head kick after a ball crossed to the box.
With these 3 points Ratchaburi keeps the fifth place with 58 points, after Muang Thong and BEC Tero, still in third and fourth spots. In the lead, Chonburi took advantage of the defeat of Buriram United to overtake them and reach the first place, with a slim 1 point lead.
