Matchday 10 of Thai Premier League, in which Bangkok Glass visited Chainat Hornbill. Tie 1-1 in a match where Bangkok Glass had more merits to bring the 3 points back home.
The first half started in the worst way for Bangkok Glass, because Chainat scored in the first goal chance they had, it was minute 2. In a free-kick from the right side, the ball ended in Murcy, alone in the edge of the small box without a mark, and headed into goal without difficulty. The visiting team reacted with Chatree, the most active man of Bangkok Glass during the first half, first with a play from the left wing that ended in a cross to the area headed out by Chatree. Second after a good long ball from the central defender to Kaimbi, situated in the right wing, who after a dribble crossed the ball to the area but it was kicked slightly out by Chatree coming from second line. However, he would not miss the third one, after a nice combination by the team; it was minute 27. The play started in midfield, with a great long pass by Narong to the back of the local defence on the left side of the attack, the ball was touched with the head by Jetsadakorn into the heart of the box, where it was kicked into goal by Chatree coming again from second line. The goal made justice to the merits made by Bangkok Glass looking for the goal. From here till the end of the first 45 minutes, the only chance was a shot from the edge of the box by one of the attackers of Chainat, but the ball went over the bar.
The second half started with a couple opportunities for the visiting team without much danger. However, the first good chance was for the local team, in a cross into the box from the right side, the ball was cleared by Matt Smith but the ball ended in the feet of the rival attacker, who shot over the bar. Bangkok Glass answered with a long distance shot by Peeraphong that went directly to the goalkeeper’s hands. The visiting team had a new opportunity with Kaimbi, their most active player during the second 45 minutes, with a breakthrough in the left wing after a combination with a teammate, but his shot went out. The next chance came after a through pass to Tasevski, the ball went a bit long but he managed to control it on the goal line inside the box, he passed it back and a teammate shot coming from second line but the ball was blocked by the goalkeeper not without trouble. Kaimbi had a new chance, after a one-two combination with a teammate, he entered the box but the goalkeeper saved the hand-to-hand. Shortly after came the polemic action of the game. Play on the right wing from the visiting team, which ended in a cross to the box, after a missed shot by Praweenwat the ball ended in the feet of Chatree, but his shot hit the bar and the ball seemed to bounce inside the goal, the deflection went to Matt Smith, but his header was saved by the goalkeeper with an amazing hand, the ball went deflected to Tasevski, who passed it back to Praweenwat, but his shot was saved miraculously again by the goalkeeper over the line. Chainat’s forward had one after a cross to the area from the right side, but his back-kick went over the bar. Bangkok Glass had another one with a shot from outside the box by Kaimbi that went out.
With this tie, Bangkok Glass is now third in the table with 21 points, tied with Muang Thong, second. The leader is, one more week, Buriram United who after their win they now have 24 points. Army United and Suphanburi sharte the fourth and fifth spots tied to 19 points.
