Duel in the top in matchday 15 of Thai Premier League in which Bangkok Glass, second in the standings, visited Buriram United, leader. Game played face to face but with no movement in the scoreboard, so both teams shared the points at the end.
The first 45 minutes were very disputed with few chances for both teams. The first opportunity of the match was for the local team, after a through-pass in the right side to the back of the defence that left the rival player face-to-face against Narit, although a bit sided to the right, but his shot was cleared with the foot by Narit in a good save. The first shot on goal by the visiting team came from Kaimbi, but his far shot from the right side went wide out. Buriram had another chance in a corner executed from the right side, that Narit failed to clear and after some mess in the box the ball was cleared by the defence. Not much more to highlight in the first half.
In the second half, the local team pressured more intensively and had more control over the ball, being able to create some dangerous chances. The first one came in a free-kick from the right-hand side of the edge of the box, but the shot was cleared by Narit not without some trouble. The second one came in a play from left wing that ended in a crossing to the box, the ball was controlled by the rival forward with his chest and without letting the ball fall he shot on goal but the high shot was cleared to corner by Narit placing a good hand. The following one came also from a set-play, in a free-kick from the right side that was kicked into the box, but the ball crossed the small box with no player being able to kick it on goal. Buriram had another opportunity with a crossing to the area from right wing that was headed on goal by a rival player close to the right post of Narit, who cleared the ball in a great save. The first chance for Bangkok Glass came in a corner set-play, that ended with a crossing to the area from the right side headed wide out by Kaimbi. Buriram answered with a strong shot from outside the box that was cleared by Narit with some trouble. The best chance for Bangkok Glass in the second half came from a long distance shot by Kaikaew that was saved by the goalkeeper with a magnificent save when the ball looked like it was going to enter the goal close to the bar. This was the last chance of a game in which both teams demonstrated why they occupied the first two spots in the standings.
After the tie Bangkok Glass is now third with 31 points, 2 points behind Buriram United and Muang Thong United, that now share leadership of Thai Premier League with 33 points.
