The first chance of the game was for the local team, in a play in left wing that ended with a crossing to the heart of the box, which was headed out by Cunha. Bangkok Glass answered immediately with a break-through in right wing, which ended in a crossing to the box from the goal line, the ball deflected in a local defender and was cleared with difficulties by the goalkeeper, the ball went to Aridane alone with no opposition, who could not shoot properly and the ball went out close to the post. Toti also had a chance with a long distance shot that went out over the bar, and Tanasith in a break-through in left wing that ended in a dribble into the box, but his shot went out over the bar. The next opportunity would be much better for the visiting team, a corner-kick to the second post was headed by Aridane coming from second line, the goalkeeper saved the shot miraculously, the ball went back to Aridane but his shot was cleared again by the goalkeeper. Aridane also had the next chance for Bangkok Glass, after a crossing to the second post from right wing, he controlled the ball alone inside the small box, his low shot beat the goalkeeper but was cleared by a defender over the goal line, the clearance went back to Aridane who shot on goal from the left edge of the box to the far post, but his shot hit the post and went out. Aridane had a last chance after a play in left side by Tanasith, who crossed the ball to the box but the header went over the bar. Tasevski also had it with a shot from outside the box that was cleared to corner by the goalkeeper in a good save. However, in the last play of the first half the local team managed to take the lead in the scoreboard, nearly in their second approach on goal in the entire first half. A rival player received the ball inside the box, and after a couple dribbles he was tackled on the edge of the box; the penalty was converted by Cunha with a shot to the right of Narit; it was minute 45 and the first half ended with the local team in advantage despite the total control of the game by the visiting team.

The second half started with an opportunity for Chonburi, after a crossing to the box from left wing that was headed out by their forward. The visiting team answered fast with a play in right side that ended in a pass to Tasevski on the edge of the box, but his soft shot was blocked by the goalkeeper without trouble. The match continued without major opportunities until minute 75, in which Chonburi scored their second goal. A through pass in right wing ended in a crossing to the box from the goal line, a local player touched the ball to the second post for the arrival of Cunha from second line, who only had to head on goal. Without too much merit, the local team put things very difficult for Bangkok Glass. Nevertheless, the visiting team came back to the match shortly after, in minute 84. A play in left wing by Tasevski ended with a break-through into the box, where he was tackled by a local defender and the referee conceded the penalty; Tasevski converted it. Chonburi could close the match in stoppage time, in a counter-attack in left wing, which ended with a pass to the other side for a teammate alone inside the box, but his crossed shot went out nearly touching the post. However, football eventually made justice to the merits made by both teams and in the last play of the match Bangkok Glass tied the game.
